These fresh new RealStyles will work with the Band-in-a-Box® Pro package contents! In fact, these will work with ANY Band-in-a-Box® 2022 for Windows package! We've added 100 new RealStyles more to our XPro Styles collection with the just-released XPro Styles PAK 2! I can't remember the exact procedure for that, but I know Kent from PGMusic has helped some folks fix this type of issue. If it's still not loading, then it makes me think it could be one of the DX/VST flag files that is causing a problem. In the case of the Aria plugin, howoever, the 32-bit is shown as x86 and the 64-bit is shown as 圆4 so both can be in your list at the same time (again, make sure you have jbridge for the 64-bit version). For that reason, if you have the 32-bit version loaded in your list of available plugins, in order to use the 64-bit version, you have to remove the 32-bit version, then load the 64-bit version (because both are called "Kontakt". One thing to be careful of (and this doesn't apply to Aria).the name of the VSTi as shown in BIAB is exactly the same whether it's the 32-bit or 64-bit plugin. Only use the 圆4 version if you have jbridge installed however, I don't believe that the Garritan libraries are so huge that you'll have problems using the 32-bit version with BIAB. If you have a sound card with multiple outputs with your DAW, then you may want to use the Multi version to send the output to different paths for further processing. In BIAB you don't want to load the Multi that's to support multiple audio outputs, but BIAB only has one stereo output.

When you install Aria, it will ask you where you want your plugins installed and it will install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the plugin. And it is not a DXi plugin strictly a VSTi plugin. a BIAB song I co-wrote with Steve Young: One More DayĪria definitely works here.I don't know if this will help but the below link will take you to the latest version of Aria Player (it's free). Did you try both the _x86 and the _x86(multi) plugins? It might be that one of these works with BIAB and the other does not (as you can see from my images, I have the _x86 one loaded). The 32-bit plugin will have _x86 in its name.ģ. Even though the "\program files(x86)" should contain only 32-bit plugins, there've been instances on these forums where 64-bit plugins have also been added to directories therein. If you've tried to load a 64-bit version of the plugin that will not be able to added unless you have jbridge installed because BIAB is a 32-bit application. If what you've tried to load is a DXi version of the plugin, it cannot be loaded via the "Add VSTi plugin" method above.Ģ. The samples are marvelous and play cleanly.A couple of thoughts that might or might not help.ġ.

The approach seems to avoid prior problems I was having with clicks and cut off of notes. Will now have separate "Aux" tracks for each instrument that can be record enabled and played or sent to busses for recording audio tracks prior to mixing.

Repeat for further tracks for discrete input and midi output assignments for each.Ĩ. Everything is being done with the single player through the I/O input, and the midi channel output assignments.ħ. Note: do not insert further Aria Player inserts in the further tracks. That is the key! Then verify that midi output is to the Aria channel for that instrument (here: channel 2).ī. On I/O input, choose for Input (that's right!): plug-in, Aria multi stereo with its Analog output (3/4). Name the track with whatever the instrument is or whatever other naming convention is useful.Ī. Player 1, channel 1) on midi out, and Analog 1/2, on the I/O. Note that first track will already have (or should be) assigned Aria 1-1 (i.e. Note: do not need to mess with ProTools I/O under Setup! Keep Window open to help with subsequent tracks.ĥ. If a preexisting User or Aria Ensemble is used, be sure that each instrument in set has separate midi and Analog outputs. For ProTools stereo outputs, they will be 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 etc. If relevant user ensemble does not already exist, simply add instruments to the popup player and add different Output Assignments (click next to last selector right before channel assignments) for each (as well as channel assignments). Insert Aria multi stereo plug-in as an insert in first track. Step by Step Summary follows.Ģ.Ğnable View>Edit Window (and Mix Window)>Instruments, so can assign channels from Midi.ģ. Though he was working with Kontakt, the approach is readily adaptable to ProTools. However, an excellent You Tube by Loudan Sterns : provided the approach that worked. I was having problems using Garritan's Multi Stereo Player Ensembles in ProTools.
